Hello, my View of Heaven friends and family! We’re excited for the last few weeks of winter to end and for the wonderful season of spring to start. Our amazing partners from Spring House Farm are opening up their Spring CSA on February 1st and we here at VOH have been invited to participate as add-on packaging to those orders.
For those of you who are not familiar with Spring House Farm, they offer gourmet cut meats each growing season. Their beef, pork, poultry and lamb is all grass-fed and grass-finished. Their CSA packages are hand-selected before each delivery date to ensure you receive an assortment of their most delicious, high quality cuts of meat. Spring House Farm packages come in 4 sizes:
• Family Share: (between 11lbs-14lbs bi-weekly)
• Lovers Share: (between 5lbs-7lbs bi-weekly)
• Sampler Share: (between 3lbs-4lbs bi-weekly)
• Egg & Honey Shares are available as an add on option only
We hope our VOH customers take advantage of the amazing options Spring House Farm is offering us. You can purchase a seasonal CSA share with Spring House Farm, and you will receive 12 weeks worth of fresh meat, along with honey and eggs if you choose to upgrade your package. This will be split up into 6 bi-weekly packages for you to pick up at one of their many drop-off locations.
So here at VOH, we have partnered with Spring House Farm to Add-On our Produce or Baked goods to be an option for our wonderful customers. After your CSA order is processed, you can select either a VOH Produce or VOH Baked Goods option. Both the Produce and Baked Good shares will offer two sizes. An individual size and a family size. The individual size will include three items and the family size will include six items in total.
We are delighted that our Produce shares will include a variety of items such as, Lovely Lettuce mix, Spinach, Swiss Chard, Arugula, Kale, and Bok Choy. Our Bakery team will be making delicious treats for the Baked Goods share including scones, cookies, and breads.
We’re beyond excited to offer our products together with Spring House Farm gourmet meats. Spring House Farm has pickup locations in Sterling, Herndon, Ashburn, Leesburg, Hamilton, and Purcellville. This gives us an opportunity to offer our amazing produce and baked goods to Eastern Loudoun County.
